Scandal Ridden & 14/365

We have been treated to yet another scandal from the incoming Presidential administration. Gov. Bill Richardson (D) from New Mexico has withdrawn himself from the Commerce Sec. position because of yet another pay to play situation. This administration has not taken office yet but no time in my adult life have I ever witnessed an incoming President who is so plagued by seemingly corrupt associates. I look at this and it is beginning to frighten me.

While Presidential scandal happens, I would think that all of this taking place before the inauguration does not bode well for a scandal free presidency. Again I am wondering about our incoming President's judgment ability. He seems just one step removed from all of the corruptness, but this leads me to yet another adage, "The apple does not fall from the tree." While I am not condemning Mr. Obama because he has not been implicated, I am left wonder if this is only the tip of the iceberg. I am not filled with hope at all, and these scandals are not the change we need.

I would like for the incoming President to be forthright and honest about all of these seemingly corrupt associations. I know I may be more inclined to listen if he would speak out about his associations instead of excusing bad behavior or saying I did not know, I really do not believe that anymore. I want accountability and I am not seeing or hearing any.

14/365

1. The help, love, and support of my two oldest children I will miss them terribly when they fly into the wild blue yonder tomorrow morning early (please pray for safe travels for them). But I cannot even begin to express my thankfulness at being blessed with them. Nicholas and Demaris I know you guys read my blog, so thank you and I love you both. You are my favorite 19 and 17 year olds.

2. A boss who gets me and understands the needs of my family, not everyone is as blessed and I am aware of this.

3. Spaghetti for dinner that I don't have to cook (thanks Demaris)

4. Vacuums made especially for pet hair.

5. Losing enough weight that clothes that have not fit for a couple of years fit again, it is like having a new wardrobe without having to spend extra money.

Love your grateful list, as always.

And I was less than thrilled with the idea of the new CIA leader who has no intelligence experience. Seems like that's a pretty major post needing some knowledge base!

You are so right! My only hope is that maybe he will mess up so much that he will lose a majority of his supporters who have been so blind. And hopefully in the meantime, he won't put us in any danger. If there was ever a time to pray for our country, it is now!

Loved your grateful list! We all need to remember our blessings. Thanks for the reminder!

Getting back to prognosticating, people were kicking around predictions on Grizzly Groundswell New Years Eve radio show. I had made a comment that Obama will find himself impeached within 12 months of his inauguration. I don't know why some people seem surprised at all of what is coming out. HE IS A CHICAGO POLITICIAN!

Wow! You made that creepy Obama-Carpathia connection. I loved reading that series. Didnt agree with alot of of it but it was very entertaining.

Rush was harping on the creepiness of Obama's election victory speech. I definitely see your connection. Obama is a man full of himself. (Although I wonder if one could run for president and not have a god-complex at some level or another)

I better say here for the record for everyone reading this post that I do not believe Barack Obama is the anti-christ. Thought I better put that out there.

The scandals that started to show during the election really haven't slowed down, have they? I always think of Lincoln's quote (which I'm probably butchering) that when you have questions about the character of a man, look to his friends.

Hugs,
